   BT Retail hits 4 million users
BT Retail has become the first UK ISP to top 4 million customers. Over the last 5 years roughly 1 person every 40 seconds has subscribed or about 2000 a day. Not bad really.

The last million customers have been added in just ten months.

Factoring in BT wholesales broadband supply 11.5million people now use a BT based connection for their broadband, the rest of the 15 million online in the UK are on Cable.
