| ISPA announces the 2008 Awards Categories | | ISPA have announced the details for the ISPA Awards for 2008 - the 10th year of the awards. Entry is open to any ISP in the UK (they do not have to be an ISPA member) and can be applied for via the website. The Awards are assesed based on performance, customer testimonials and written statements.
The list of categories at The 2008 ISPAs include:
- Best Consumer ISP
- Best Business ISP
- Best Consumer Broadband
- Best Business Broadband
- Best Consumer Email
- Best Business Email
- Best Dial-up
- Best Internet Telephony
- Best Portal
- Best Wireless ISP
- Best Streaming
- Best Shared Hosting (New category)
- Best Dedicated Hosting (New category)
- The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) Award
- Internet Hero
- Internet Villain
- Corporate Social Responsibility
This year???s awards will feature two new categories which were introduced in response to entrant feedback and to give a more accurate reflection of the industry. Best Dedicated Hosting and Best Shared Hosting are replacing Best Business Host and Best Consumer Host.
Entry to The 2008 ISPAs is free and open to all ISPs, including those who are not members of ISPA.
To enter the awards, companies should select the category or categories they wish to enter, and register for testing with Epitiro via http://www.ispaawards.org.uk. Online registration is now open and is set to close on the 31st August. | | |
