Floods cause chaos for ISPs and end users
The servere bad weather has caused widespread flooding across the UK, with a number of places being flooded out and water shortages in the regions effected.

This has also had an impact on a number of ISPs based in the Severn Valley - including NamesCo, FastHosts and Star Internet.

Problems have included staff not being able to make it to work to offices going fully underwater. So expect a few delays if trying to contact any effected ISPs.

Also ADSL issues are expected - with disconnections and line problems, cased by BT exchanges and junction boxes filling with water. I expect there will be a few delays in raising BT apointments over the coming days.
